Two Elected to NAM

Otis W. Brawley and Keith P. Klugman have been elected to the National Academy of Medicine (NAM), formerly the Institute of Medicine.  Brawley who is chief medical officer for the American Cancer Society, is adjunct professor of epidemiology at Rollins, and Klugman is director of pneumonia programs for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and emeritus William H. Foege Professor of Global Health at Rollins.  Membership in the NAM is considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine, recognizing individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievements.
